At my time at Boston Beer I had great opportunities to work on many design projects. From posters, to menus, to logos. This logo project was requested for Boston Beer's internal program: Workplace Services. Following many key ideas of the program (structure, stability, helpful, homey) I drafted, revised and perfected two logos for the company to use. Many of these key ideas went into the process and design decisions that led me to my final product. The logo needed to look professional, refined, structured, yet inviting. It also had to include the core components of our company, such as a fermentation tank or wheat hop. For the final piece I created a hop that was a perfect blend of organic and geometric shapes, a structured typeface and a house inside the hop, representing that Workplace Services is the backbone for our "home," the office.
